Empty the cat litter from the base first. Then simply wipe the base down with mild soap and water for a quick and thorough clean. Please make sure the metal base is dry before pouring the clean litter in.
How can I help my cat adapt to Furrbby?
Most cat switch to our litter box seamlessly! However, it does take time for some picky cats to accommodate a new litter box, here are some methods for your reference:
1. Placing Furrbby in the same location as the old litter box.
2. Add a few cups of litter from the old litter box to help your cats feel more familiar with Furrbby.
3. You may also need to place them inside Furrbby to show them that it is safe.

I bought this for my two cats to use - instead of two separate litter boxes. So far, so good. They've adjusted very well and I like that it's SS and easy to clean. No more soaking the old litter boxes with Odoban to get rid of the smell.
